Working a day at home

Wednesday : 12 Jun '02 - 10:55 | admin default two comments, already

Today is a really productive day, because I'm working at home. It is quite amazing how much you can do and read when you are not surrounded by the office, people asking you questions, lunch that takes time of your working day etc. And in between even time to do the laundry, give food to the labrador (just kidding!!!!) etc.

More people out there with experience on working at home? Let me know!

Yes a lot of experience, working at home sucks. At home there is much more you can do besides working, which makes it hard to concentrate on the work. Secondly, there’s not one single push to actually do something, because no one needs information or output from you… Thirdly, “working at home” seems to be a synonym for “kein Bock auf Arbeiten heute”..
So.. I wouldn’t recommend it.
(I think this is my first serious reply in your weblog, great huh?)

If you are working at home, can’t you let someone else do the sucking?

I think that will end the serious comments…
